how do the re comps stack up?!

im lookin to get a decent compnent set soon and im lookin at re but how do they compare with dls and focal and other top brands....im lookin for no more than $200 so they wont be top of the line...

well first I have no experence with dls or focal. But I can speak from experence with REaudio. I had a crap load of other brand in your price range and none came close the the comps I have now ( RE -re6.5) re also makes XXX 6.5 which i will be getting shortly but they are not components. I would say get the RE -re6.5's you won't be sorry their great..

I have the RE comps in my car with 100W RMS on each of them and they POUND. I'd never had a set of components that could shake all the mirrors on my car by themselves. The highs are crystal clear and there is no distortion anywhere. I got them for $129 and I couldn't be happier.

How is the midbass on the RE re comps?? I currently have a set of Mb Quart PCE216's in my car and I hate them because they lack midbass.
