How do inputs work on HUs

This should be a fairly simple/stupid question. I have the new Alpine Head Unit, idaX100. It is awesome but I really miss the cd player. Since I am new to car stereos and electronics I had it installed professionally so I never really got to look at the back of the unit and its wiring and connectivity. I was wondering if there is an input jack somewhere on the unit, like a 1/8inch jack so I can plug a diskman into the unit, I know I wont be able to control it through the deck, but It would at least allow for the use of cds.

You can add a cd changer to it I believe.

those units are ipod ready and should come with the cable. that way you could use the unit to navigate
