How do I wire, one 9k.2

I just bought a 9k.2 from elemental designs. Its been a long while since Ive wired a sub in a car, and before they only had two posts for wires. I notice there are four on this sub. Please explain to me how to wire it.

I am going to be using an old *** Cadence amp. Its so old, when i called cadence, he told me they dont even have books on it anymore, but by the model number the guy said he believes it is 150X2 @ two ohms.

The sub will be in a custom box for a tacoma @.35 cubes.

when i use the 2 ohm DVC, it gives me two different diagrams. a parallel, (1ohm load), and a series (4 ohm load)

What exactly is the difference?

Will this work with my 2 ohm amp?
