How do I tune a box?

i googled and this came up....

ok MDF is the best for the price. call up your local lowe's or home depot i could quote you a price but it wouldn't help you. it's how much your local supplier is selling it for that matters. but it's cheap in terms of anything else car audio related. the best would be a cement box but tha isn't very likely. basically you don't want the box to flex. flexing is lost power...usually 1'' MDF is all you need.

the bigger the port is afaik simply means you are less likely to have port noise(whisteling((sp?)).

the box should cost 50 bucks or so. including wood glue, screws, and a clamp or two if you don't have any.

also you have to TUNE your port to a certain frequency...

i'm sure someone who actually builds them can give you better info then i can but i saw no one replied to you and i know how angry that can make a person so this stuff should get you started...best of luck take pics and show us!!!
