how do i make my 6x9 inch speakers put out nohelp with 6x9s bass and pure

how do i make my 6x9 inch speakers put out no bass and pure sound? Ive heard of ppl using an amp and Ive heard of ppl using a cross over.
wat? are you trying to remove lower frequencies from the 6x9? if yes, it would be called a high pass filter(HPF)

Can be done with an amp(if you also need more power)

or

"Bass Blockers" wired in series with the speaker itself.

dont get the real high freq ones, i say the 150hz should be good, its a 6db xover, you could do 300hz if you wanted NO midbass, just depends on what sound you like

what kind of cd player do you have? alot of mid-high end ones have built in xovers now
