How would I know that I want my sub tuned at 32hz. That was the recommended tuning frequency. But why? Why not 28hz? Why not 36hz? All within its tuned frequency range. Why would I tune at 28hz? Why at 30? 32, 34, 36?
All about what you want your stuff to sound like...honestly tuning under 30hz isn't worth it because you don't really notice a difference besides the sub unloading differently. 32-33hz is a great balance of lows and loudness for a daily. The higher you want to tune will give you some noticeable output but some of the low lows may lack. Since the skar's are designed for lows, I wouldn't tune any higher than 33-34.How would I know that I want my sub tuned at 32hz. That was the recommended tuning frequency. But why? Why not 28hz?
