How do i go about wiring 2 power wires?

Im running a single 8 right now. Thinking about running a 0/1 to the Distro then 2 8's back.

lol, that's why I asked that question. My guess is the OP ran too small a wire and now wants to add on to it. Just a guess though

and yes 2 8ga is the way i want it, and then if i want to run 2 seperate amps, i have the option. I might go 0/1 to two 4s though.

Its not stupid, its the way older amps were made. Back then, smaller power wire (8, 10 gauge) was normal, so having 2x 8 gauge was their only solution for more current capacity.

Today, with monster amps, the need for larger power wire arose. 4, then 2, now 1/0.

i'd pull a run of 1/0 back to a distro. then 2x 8 (or 4) from there.
