How do I find a Leak in my car????Help

Every time it rains I get a ton of water on my driver side floor. It even gets into the footwell in the backseat. Is there a way to find a leak that you guys know of?

what car? check a car forum thats specific to your car. my dads car and sisters car both had leaks in them and it turned out to be a vehicle specific problem that alot of other people have had.

might give you ideas at least where to start.

ur weather stripping cracked or broken anywhere?

check the flapper that lets the heat into ur car, thats where my car also leaked and got my passenger floor all wet since it was located ont hat side of the car.

just dry out the car and use a garden hose and have someone watch under the dash you can usually tell. the rubber on the flapper in my car was so rotted i just knew it was that

A lot of times when the heater core goes it will puddle water on the floor of a car but its usually the passenger side. I would check for leaks on your heater hoses and the heater core under the dash.

Its a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am 2door. It is getting wet everywhere on the Driver side floor. Even getting to the back seat foot well but I think that is due to me parking on a hill and it flowing back
