How do I figure this

My amp puts out 600 watts @ 4 ohms. If I were to hook a W7 to it (3 ohm) what would it be pushing? Would it be within the acceptable range of a 8 W7?

RMS Power measured at 12.5 Volts DC:

150 Watts x 2 into a 4 Ohm load with less than 0.05% THD+N

300 Watts x 2 into a 2 Ohm load with less than 0.1% THD+N

600 Watts bridged into a 4 Ohm load with less than 0.1% THD+N

Dynamic Power (IHF-202 Std) measured at 14.4 Volts DC

200 Watts x 2 into a 4 Ohm load

375 Watts x 2 into a 2 Ohm load

750 Watts bridged into a 4 Ohm load

That's per channel.

That amp might not be stable down to 3 ohms bridged, but you'll probably be good considering impedance rise...try it out and see.

Yeah, it might really depend on your box and the impedance from it.

Well if its ok for 2 and 4 ohm why would it not be for 3 ohm? Im asking cause I really dont know, not trying to sound like an ***...lol.

You're not sounding like an *** at all.

It's stable to 2 ohms in stereo mode...but not in bridged. So if you ran it bridged, the amp would be driving an impedance lower than its listed minimum. It still might be OK, because the actual impedance seen by the amp could be over 4 ohms in many places, and/or the amp could deal with a sub-4 ohm load anyway.
