i have i 1989 chevy corsica and i dont know how to in stall a head unit i think i could just cut the plastic arould the old radio out and glue a new piece in its place with a hole big enough to fit the new one but im not sure could someone help thanks

Stop, do not cut. Go and buy a radio kit for your year and model car. It will come with pieces to fill the voids left when you remove the factory radio

Yikes;

There are two screws at the bottom of the housing (underneath the Heater / AC controls if you have them) Take those out; There are two more at the top; That removes the trim.

Now you should be able to see the screws that actually hold the radio & ac/heater controls in; Pep Boys will sell you a kit by "Metra" that plugs right in; $12.

ok ive looked all over for a dash kit and they dont make one for the car because the heater controls and radio are all one piece

Just someone who carries the brand even, so they can order in the part for you if needed.

The 99-3101 is the one you want for that car. You also want the 70-1858 for the wiring harness.
