Stop, do not cut. Go and buy a radio kit for your year and model car. It will come with pieces to fill the voids left when you remove the factory radio

Im married and I dont like my old wife(doesnt play with my head unit anymore).

can i cut her out and just fill in the gap with a new trophy wife? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

Yikes;

There are two screws at the bottom of the housing (underneath the Heater / AC controls if you have them) Take those out; There are two more at the top; That removes the trim.

Now you should be able to see the screws that actually hold the radio & ac/heater controls in; Pep Boys will sell you a kit by "Metra" that plugs right in; $12.
