How do i determine the tuning of a box?

i see people saying their box is 5.2ft^3 tuned to 34 HZ and stuff like that, how do you tune a box? PLEASE DONT LAUGH AT ME

by how big the port is

just go to subwoofertools.com you type in a of you measurements w.h.d and put in hz u want it and it'll do it all for you.

Length of the port in relation to the size of the box....or use a tuning fork.
