How did You deal with License Plate Rattling?

or just put the license plate inside the car on the back window.

i taped an old rag behind the plate. Never had any issues either, keeps rattle down much better then any matting. Keeps the license plate completly off the sheet metal of the trunk.

Once I even went so ghetto I used some chewing gum, worked pretty good. Was however a mess to remove it....

A piece of dynamat or, the equivalent to, and bolt it tight to the body. Always worked for me for silence.
