i taped a piece of cardboard to my girlfriends civic when her plate was rattling, that fixed it. if mine rattles on my truck , i cant hear it.

Just ignore it, if your cars properly deadened you whont hear it inside the car.

But to stop torturing my trunk I moved my subs into the cabin.

i Believe those state "Dynamat" or "i got better sound"

I want none of that-for security reasons. But im pretty sure it works fine.

Cardboard might work no doubt. But it rains a lot in Htown now and i think this weather might affect it.
