how can i run 4 speakers and a sub with only 2 sets of pre amp outputs?

depends what you have is it a switchable rear/sub rca out on the deck and a front pair too? what is your amp? my alpine wants a front and rear output but has a selector that allows me to steal signal from channels 1/2 and share it with 3/4. or you can get a y adapter for the four channel and then run the other set to your sub amp.

front rca out to the front input on the 4channel the output on the 4 channel to the other input on the 4 channel then the rear rca or subwoofer which ever to the other amp.

hes right that will work also only if your amp has an output rca on it i know alot of cheaper amps don't then you would have to go with the y adapter to splice your front rca's into 2 rca's hope this helps man
