you could wire up all in parallel to drop to a 0.5ohm loadyou can find some amps to handle that for relatively cheap (lanzar opti2000) ~$300

unless i missed something it would be a 1 ohm, or a .25 ohm

you wire each speaker the same, then connect them all together

each speaker gets a jumper from one POS coil to the other NEG coil, makes 8 8 ohm loads.

then just go POS/NEG on each sub

then you have 2 wires going out to the amp....

i am waiting till i know how the wiring is going to look before i buy anything. I can buy whatever amp/subs i am just trying to keep cost low.
THis is a totally new project down to the alts.

I still havent figured if i was going to use a wall.

good luck with that. pretty much anything worthwhile is going to cost you.

Yeh. Only options are 1ohm or .25, I have exact setup in my truck now.

Why is 8 10s ur only idea for a setup?

I'd go 4 12s in ur case. Dk your budget but ill throw somethin out for under 800.

4 12 type R = 400ish

Used 20.1 or similar on here = 400ish.

No he said DVC, you can get the hifonics hifis in DVC or SVC

The hifonics subs are beast for the money but if your paying more than $40 a piece for them then you obviously havnt looked around. onlinecarstereo.com has them for $38.99 i think and IF you spend more than $100 you get free shipping.

The soundstorm is trash but ive noticed we have already established that. Crunch and Autotek would be the best choices if you on a budget. Autotek is with crunch, MB Quart and Hifonics in Maxxsonics.

For all this crap your trying to do you could get 4 12"s or 4 15"s and simplify your wiring, amp selection, box design, box cost, box building time, Wiring cost and overall hassle that 8 subs would cost you over just doing 4.
