How big of altenator

ok so i will be running 2000 watts rms in my car.

what electrical up grades should i get?

will my starter battery, a kinetik 2000 and a high output altenator do it? or do i have to do the big 3?

I really dont want to do the big 3.

whats the minimum changes i can get away with?

and the title question how big of alternator?

Big 3 regardless of what you do. If you have the money get the alternator. 2K is bareable, but my advice, big 3, alt, battery.

no big3 is pointless with a ho alt, most ho alts will require you to do it anyways

what is yours now? imports have teeny alts. most domestic cars and suv have bigger alts like 100a or more. In which case you might be ok with what you have now.

i have a 2002 Suburban.

it probably like 100a but it is going out already so i was planning on changing it. how much should i beef it?

just get a 200amp and be done with it, should be cheap and easy to find one for that
