How Big of a Difference?

Right now i have 2 12 inch type Rs running on one ohm off a BXI1606 in 4.4cu 35hz box how big of a difference would i see if i change my amp to a BXI2006

I'm guessing not that much, from my experience. You might notice a small difference, but I'm not sure it's worth the price.

You might gain half a dB or so... if this is just a daily driver, then it isn't worth the trouble.

it would cost probably about 120 dollars if i could sell my 1606

A dB meter will be able to tell a difference between the 1606 and the 2006, but your ears won't... hardly worth $120.

what about from a single 12" type r in 1.7cu @ 32hz powered by a profile ap1000m to an mrp-850...

if you want that much more, just upgrade the subs, or possibly a new box would do the trick.

Not a big difference between 800w to 1000w, especially for the Type R 12, which is rated at only 500w rms. More subs or a different box would make much more of a difference.
