or what would be a better all around freq for a daily but still have somewhat heavy bass?

You are looking at 5.3 cu ft before port and speaker displacement. Make that port about 11" long. After port and sub displacement, that would put you about 36hz.

ahh i need between 3.7-4.3 would like to keep the 30 wide and need at least 16 deep sub up port back {15 inch sub} so how tall and what port length to get the 36?? thanks

sounds like you have no idea how to design a box

you need to do l x x h /1728 like posted to get yoru gross volume then subtract your sub displacement and port displacement to get your net volume

apparently you dont either as your response is wrong. its lxwxh/1728 and i know the sub/port have to be subtracted. like i said i used the program that was posted. if you don`t know if it`s correct or not its best to not post ***** and keep your mouth shut so you don`t continue to make yourself look foolish.

and i do believe i`m here asking for help therefore i KNOW i can`t do it. it`s been at least 6 years since i even built a box and it was a simple sealed. SOOOO ur point??

i have used that program b4 and had great results. a sheet of mdf is like 25$ buy 2 and build 2 or 3 diff boxes.
