hey how are the new kenwood Db+ i plan on buyin 4 of em so i wanna know if anyone has heard em and how they sounded

ive heard them they sound alright nothin special dont really bump to hard but for the price i think there is much better they were in the back of a 2000 impala

i agree with geonn, not sure on the price of those heard them in a shop 1 time and not impressed at all to say the least.

hey thanx for the replys im on a tight bugdet tho and i juss heard em yesterday in this guys jeep cherakee, they actually sounded real good in a ported box, also they retailed at 215$ im payin 115$

alpine type-r's are sweat subs. they can pound and hit very clean.

yea the type R's are pretty good subs id say a lot better than the db+ and you can get them for 114 on etronics.com

those 4 type R's 'll hit hella hard,

put em in sealed boxes tho.

i got 2 12's bumpin ina pathfinder powered by a 1200.1

hey the type R's recomend a 1.0ft>3 box sealed does anyone kno if they would sound aight in a 1.6ft>3 box sealed

i've had 2 of the type r's i wasnt very impressed with them i ran them off a jbl 1200 and my friend had 2 db+ and i believe his sounded better. type r's have better sq and db+ have better spl.

ericv02 is smoking some crack if you ask me. you had 2 type r 12"s running off a 1200.1 and wasn't impressed what's wrong you?? no offense or anything but i mean for the money those are great subs. in my opinion blows kenwood db+ out of the water in SPL and SQ.

alright theres a debate between the DBs and type R well i juss want something that hits real low and can make be heard which would fit that criteria

Type R's are a very well rounded sub. If you were to ask me which one out of the 2? I would definately say go for the Type R. You WIll NOT BE DISSAPOINTED.
