I have 3 4ga wires goin to a distro then a 1/0 wire comming from the distro goin to a factory bolt on the floor. My question is should it be hot after normal usage? The distro itslef is warm to the touch but the actual ground point is rather hot, im using a stinger 1/0 ga ground foot terminal.

If it's a car it's probably a unibody and the sheetmetal is the chassis. The whole car is sheetmetal, there is no real frame.

Heat is caused by resistance and current. If you are getting heat, you are losing voltage and power. Find a better round or make sure that your wire connection on the grounding foot is solid. Since the ground lock is getting wam as well make sure you have solid connections there as well.

Yes. That would be correct.
