Reviews say it sounds good, but it's not a beginner DIY project. The faux omni design is dumb and overly complicated. With an impedence of 4-6 ohms few home A/V recievers can drive it.

I like the drivers and x-over design with an acitve 180 Hz bass driver, and I would consider building it with 6.5" woofers in a standard MTMW configuration instead. Screw the "omni" part.

It looks like a poor guy's attempt to recreate the MBL Radialstrahler design without having the omni Radialstrahler drivers (which MBL has patented).
