Horrible Road Noise...

What can i do to fix it? Ive hooked up a pair of aftermarket 6x9s to an amplifier, and its buzzing like crazy. Ive done all the basics, checked for bad grounds, bad wiring... granted i am running RCAs that arent too great. What about one of those signal noise filters you put between the RCAs from the HU to the amp? Seemed like they should work, just never tried one. Thanks guys!

Can you go into more detail about the "buzzing"? Does it vary or change pitch when you rev the engine? Is it a buzzing, or more of a whine? The filters may reduce/eliminate the problem, but they are a band-aid IMO. The problem likely lies within the grounds to the HU or amp(s).
