yall aren't trying to brag about how bad your city is are you?

most people that live in truly ****ed up neighborhoods...not like "oh yea i live in the ghetto"...im talkin about TRULY ****edup places like the ones mentioned here (DC, new orleans, baltimore) would kill to get out of those conditions. people dont like getting shot at. people dont like getting mugged. the only ones tryin to brag a bout where they live are the people who have already gotten out of the ghetto... ie: industry rappers.

btw: just cause someone says LA is bad or DC or baltimore or whatever doesnt mean that the WHOLE place is ****ed up. people that dont live in these areas or just listen to what they hear in music ("gangsta rap" anyone?) think the whole **** city is ****ed up. there is some ****ed up stuff going on in EVERY city in the US, period.

for example the dude that talked about memphis. what do you think when you hear memphis? i think of country music...yet somehow i dont see how country music and getting stopped 5 times, offered bud 3 times etc. mix...

First one agree with,that's why I'm where I'm at now. I don't want my kids growing up there. Second one fyi the whole city of philadelphia is f-ed up. I grew up and lived in north philly for the first 23yrs. of my life and now the whole city(except center city, where the tourists go and the politicians are) is one big north philly. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif I love the kids who are self-proclaimed gangtas around where I'm at now, they all swear they're so hood. Well I live in the country.. The only people that die out here are drunk drivers running into harleys.

I do live close to a smaller city though and here about 2 or 3 weeks ago a womans b/f killed her child after he made bad grades on a progress report. She didnt want him to get in trouble so they put the kid in the trunk and a couple days after she called the cops and said that someone had stole her car with her kid in the back and there was an amber alert and crap. The FBI went to the goyfriends house and found the car in the garage with the kid in the trunk...

There is some sick people out here, sadly the stories dont even amaze anyone..

yep houston is the new neworleans in a sense. the crime rate went through the roof and further after katrina. it was nuts.

but as mentioned, every major metropilitan city will have it's good and bad side. that's a given.

though some are worse than others.. i used to live in a small town near the mexico/texas border for the first 10 years of my life that was pretty getto/poor lower class. but luckily i don't live there anymore. probably not as much crime as houston, but thena gain probably not even 1/4 the population of houston

im not familiar with philly at all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but i wont doubt you i was just tryin to clear up some misconceptions that happen all the time. people dont experience all this stuff. they just hear some rapper say this place is jacked up...when its only THEIR small neighborhood that is ****ed up. if you say philly is jacked up as all hell...then im gonna believe you. peace to you and yes, we really do need to get along all this murder is really pointless
