It was not ordered from TC sounds nor did they have anything to do with it other than the obvious production of the motor. I've referred board members on here to have custom drivers made by Dave from RE (TeamPSI) so when I was finally ready to pick up a new sub, I contacted him. He had this motor, a decendant of the tc3hp, and the softparts to make in pound considerably. I havnt gotten a chance to install it but it will be installed in my explorer within the next 2 weeks...

Thx for mentioning Dave. I just picked up a XXX motor, and was trying to think who from up here used to be affiliated w/ RE. What softparts did he use on ur sub?

Yea Dave built a 3hp 10 for me. He had to redrill and tap the motor because a standard basket wouldn't fit on the 3hp motor.

However I dont think I'll be using my 3hp because I am kind of shying away from bass now.

As for the HCCA. That basket looks crazy. What is the whole deal with the inner mounting ring and then the 4 'tabs'? Is the inner like a removable recone type setup?
