Built? And thats hard to believe, considering Jaguar and Audi have more issues than any other European cars, for the most part... Or at least require the most maintenance :/
My S type was from when Ford owned most of Jaguar...so its built a lot better...pretty much based on a Lincoln LS platform...but with style...The interior of both my Jaguar and Audi...were way better quality....The interior quality on the Benz was comparable to my daughter VW beetle...very cheap made....the plastics were cracking in the benz and leather wear on seats...dropping headliners and a piller material...just in general the benz was put together like a cheap car not a luxury car...the V8 had plenty of power but the handeling suxx....not something I expected...heck the Benz only uses shocks all the way around no struts....Im not sure if improvements have been made from the clk class...in the SL or not...but Id expect the cheapness in lower bargin benzs but the CLK was suppose to be in their middle....

My friend, and mechanic had a BUILT 360 late 70s ramcharger. He ended up selling it for 3k, so he didn't want to get rid of the early 70s 360 he had just put 4 grand into. Instead he put a runner into it, and kept the 360. A few years later the v6 magnum in his 2000s Dakota took a ****, so he simply put his carbureted 360 into it. You floor it from a stop, and the front end lifts like a speedboat. Thats incredible... I feel like when Ford purchased Jag they completely failed in the exterior department. Especially the Ford Taurus X Type. Did you buy the Benz new? I assume not... My grandparents have had several Benz's (mostly big bodies), and the only problem they had was the air struts, which were stupid expensive. And I wouldnt say any Benz is a bargain Benz. You just pay for the different series of the models. So the the CLK 350 isn't going to be on the level of the AMG, but is on the level of the SLK 350 (the CL being the exception). I do agree the interior on the Audi is exceptional, but that is because they focus more on that, and not as much on performance.
I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree. I have a few friends with turbo awd audi's and never heard a single complaint about their performance.. my buddy has a bi turbo a6 AWD and he mobs thru the snow. I've seen tahoes get stuck while the A6 just zings by. Audi's are solid cars
Their AWD system is nice, but compared to Benz and BMW their performance is last... Of course a heavily modded car is gonna perform well. Lol.
