Well I checked all my wireing no pinches, ground is grounded good, RCA's seem perfect, but still experiencing two problems.

#1 Tweeters are whining when the car is running, increases with RPM real pain whem volume is off not such a big deal when its cranked

#2 Passenger side 6.5 not working properly, sometimes it goes sometimes it goes out seems when i hit a bump it might turn back on, but only for a short while before it cuts out again.

When i unplug the red RCA from the amp the whining cuts out but if i unplug the other RCA and leave the red in the whining continues.

Ive resoldered the passenger side 6.5 and checked the conections into the crossover and from the crossover to the amp and everything is fine.

My only conclusion is the amp is messed up, its about 6 years old and a pyramid 300watt.

The two speakers hooked up to the amp are alpine type R 350 Watt 4ohm component speakers. The speakers and tweeters connect to the crossover and then to the amp. All wires are made my knuconceptz.

Should get the new amp today, its a 400watt profile. It better fix the problem. In the meantime anything else i can try to fix these problems?

i hope so. Cause its a real pain to spend all this time doing a nice clean install and theres a problem that just cant be simply fixed. So yeh its gotta be the amp. I can increase that whining sound too quite a bit by turning the gain up. Its way less noticable with the gain all the way off. And must be something lose in the amp that is powering that passenger side speakers. Cause i resoldered the conections real good, but still a good bump in the road and the speaker can cut in or out. So im guessing the amp is messed up and something is lose inside.

Well it worked the amp fixed all the problems. Even though tests indicated that it was the HU causeing the problem the amp was the problem. Must of been something inside that was fryed or broken. So happy it works properly finally.
