Hooking up power inverter

Get a distro block and then hook the inverter to the distro. But becareful that you remember to turn it off when your car is off, otherwise your battery is gonna die.

Do NOT daisy chain it to the amp.

do NOT daisy chain?? i dont understand what the difference between running the power through a distro block or just plugging it into the the power on the amp. how is there a difference int he way the electricity flows?

The power wire from the battery can only handle so much current before it heats up (depends on the gauge). Too hot = burning wires = say goodbye to your vehicle (and, mostly likely, get to watch while it burns on the side of the road). I don't know much about inverters and how much current they draw, but I'd be very hesitant to wire it off an amp. Use a separate, fused power wire directly from the battery.

first of all.. the power wire is 0 gauge. the only time the inverter will be on is when i will be playing xbox. while playing xbox, there will not be constant bass and therefore not drawing that much power by my amp. The wire from the amp's + to the inverter will be fused.

If that is the only reason not to daisy chain, i dont believe it. Is there any other reason not to daisy chain the inverter?? PLEASE!!!!! i dont want to ruin my car.
