Run both power and ground wire from the under hood battery to the rear battery. Grounding the back battery is not needed but is good as well, although I dont know what the hell you have for power....

Would you kindly tell us what amp you're running, what size alt, underhood batt stock/upgraded?

well i was just curious on how to do it ... and they way you explained it was they way i though it would be i was just makin sure..... even though i dont think i need it but i have a cheap stock car battery going to two 800w bazooka mono amps..

You def wont need it. Just upgrade your underhood batt. Do the big 3 if not already done. You're done, easy stuff.

ya i knew i didnt need the xtra battery but i got like i said earlier two 800w bazooka amps and i just bought like 2 hours 2 kicker CVR 12's dual 4 ohm , gonna run them in parallel.... to get down to 2 ohm

Villeza you're just plain wrong on recommending he run a ground wire all the way to the back. What would make you think 1/0 copper would have less resistance than a huge steel frame? I know in our blazers the frame has less resistance than a few 20 foot runs of copper. Geez... where did you even hear that?

Lol really, make a thread about it, let everyone flame you, then come back to me and tell me you're sorry...noob.

now does the big three really make a good big difference
OMG, I'm about to give up on helping newbies....

Yes, doing the big 3 make a big difference...HENCE the" BIG" in "Big 3". There is also a big 5 but that's only for big system like mine and above.
