Many Loud systems, (such as mine, Are not very audible from outside the car under my normal listening levels.) with the windows up anyway.

Put it to you this way, Do you enjoy music more listening to it on a clock radio, or in the front row of a concert?

A live drum set is loud enough to damage your hearing.

I guess we will just have to agree to disagree. I have ridden in my friends' cars numerous times with pretty loud systems and all I wanted to do was get out.

Music just doesn't sound as great without the right set-up or equipment.

It is a bit of an addiction. I went from 1 low wattage 12" to 2 lower wattage 12's, to 1 Fi Q 12" with about 1200 going to it, I then moved on to a Fi Bl 18" with about 1500 going to it, Now i'm in the process of doing a 2 dp 21" wall build with 5k,all of these changes have been in the last 6 months.

Because as soon as you ride in a car with a system you get addicted. Next thing you know you are trying to get louder because you are going deaf and trying to get that same sensation again. It's awesome.

Its like Coke. First one line gives you the rush...your brain gets used to it and you find your self doing 2-3 lines to get the same feeling.
