Its just an addiction. First time you hear a car playing music at 155db you're hooked.

I daily drove my 24 15s that would touch 158db @ 30hz playing music and now Im going to build something louder.

love da bass but hate the way it destroys your interior. glove boxes just falling open, makes it feel like a pos ride.

Also dont feel right bumping gangsta rap anymore. dont feel right bumpin the vulgar in front of the milfs and their kids. So I pretty much just stick to nice bass tracks, aka Nightmare on Bass Street whaat, for you old blood. Would like to try producing my own basslines one day

I have had some loud systems but realized to enjoy the music in the car I don't need much more than a 12 and some good comps. What is the purpose of being heard coming blocks away + setting off alarms?
No hate, honestly... just wanna know. I used to love being heard everywhere but then I started to feel a little silly. I can understand for competitions, but for a daily driver it seems like overkill to have anything more than maybe 400-500W RMS total to your subs.

I think a loud system for daily is not needed but look at some of the luxury vehicles that are on the road. I mean do we really need a car that can park itself?
