Honda's Electronic Load Detector (ELD) ...?

So, I just found out about this "ELD" today, which basically ruined my day to be honest. After all the money and time I wasted I am somewhat understanding why the several amps/subs I purchased were not performing like I imagined. I was planning on getting a ho alternator, installing big 3, and upgrading battery. Now, I have no idea wth to do.

My question is, does anyone have a 9th generation Honda that installed a sub and amp that can tell me all the details of a successful install ? I know about the ANC, that is disconnected. With this 'ELD' it seems like it controls the electrical flow in the car. Is there a way around that or bypassing it somehow ? I tried researching and couldn't seem to find an answer.

I appreciate the response! I read that thread you posted and that looks like a headache.
But I had a question about the alternator you bought. What did you mean by it "came with one built onto the plug". I am not sure I follow.
Mike Singer sent a plug that goes between the factory alternator pcm plug and the alternator ( not the single positive wire, the "field controller")

An extra wire comes off of the new harness that you hook to the pos stud to create a voltage load on the eld. I can probably get more pics tomorrow if you want to see the actual harness.

Ohh okay I understand now. Yea if posting more pics isn't out of your way I am curious to see. Thanks
