I agree, battery tech will have to get better. And I'm saying it won't get better without a market for it.Battery technology will have to get a lot better ... and cars have nothing to do w/ its R&D ...
Do you honestly think auto manufacturers are investing more money into battery R&D than cell phone manufacturers ? Than laptop manufacturers ? Than DAP manufacturers ?

So it equates to $8/gal for water...a lot more than gas or diesel.
