Honda Fit front speaker installation question

Installing Infinity 6030cs speakers in the front doors of my fit. Does anyone know the best speaker adapters to use? The factory Honda deal is a little weird with the old speaker built into it and hooks at the bottom with a clip at the top. Another dumb question, the factory harness has separate plugs for the door speaker and the tweeter. Do I wire the crossover just from the door speaker harness? The wiring instructions show amp to crossover and then separate leads to speaker and tweeter. Without running an amp do I just use the factory door speaker wire as the input for the crossover?

Run separate wires for the mid and tweeter if using a component set. I would never cut a oem harness for any install they sell speaker adapters if you plan on using the stock radio or stock speaker wiring.

The speaker mounting adapters are easy to come by for the hondas but you will have to drill new holes to mount them. These might work for your fit as they would in my civic. Scosche SAHC634 2006-Up Honda Civic 6-1/2" Door Speaker Adapter

Thanks for the info. I'll get those adapters coming. I've got a JVC head unit and it sounds amazing but the factory speakers were just a bit overwhelmed. How should I wire that crossover?
