Honda Civic Lx 02' AQ 1200d amp

Hello,

Im installing a aq1200d and re *** 12" sub at 4 ohm.. Stock HU, Alt, big 3, and components (door and deck)...

Well my question is about the bass dial that comes with the amp and how i should apply it while I'm tuning my amp.. If no one is sure what it is I can snap a pic but it looks like it is connected by some kind of phone jack and the actual dial itself has a clipping and power light on it with of course a dial to turn the bass up or down
