Well.. My parents have had alot of remodeling done.. There were speakers installed in the ceiling of most of the rooms in their house when they bought it.. The speakers were all wired to controls on the walls.. Its basically a turn-knob to turn up or down the speakers.. My question is this.. Will I need to worry about frequency response? I have 3-way comps in the doors, but am putting an additional set of tweets in the pillars to raise the stage height.. I have the xtant 604x and 603x.. They have "passive channels" which mimic the input of one of your other channels.. I am going to use the passive channel off of the tweets from my comp set to run the extra tweets.. Could I use the in-wall attenuator in order to lower the level on the front speakers (just to where you can't hear them anymore), or will it alter the frequencies being input?

Are you talking about a car or a house? >_>

Well if they are anything like the one's we use in houses which is an impedence matching hi level attenuater then yes you can. We use them on boats as well and work great!
