That's true. I used to work there. To be fair though, Lowe's is just as bad. You have to go a real lumber yard to actually get any decent quality wood and good service. Costs more though.

holy **** what a coincedence I had the same thing happen to me today! I was at Home Depot afterschool, we are getting lots of birch for a new quarterpipe, and wanted four 3 by 5 cuts and the guy was like, "oh yeah, well you guys are gonna have to wait a long time." in a pissy *** voice

I bought a sheet of MDF at HD, gave this nice old man my list of measurements and he nailed every one of them dead on. You gotta find the guy that looks like hes been doing for a 100 years. But they wont take tips. I tried to slip him a 5 and he wouldnt take it.

you don't rip wood if you can't make cuts under 12". and if you don't provide exact cutting service, say that to the customer before you start cutting. obviously a piece of 16" x 48" MDF will fit in your car without being cut.

quit *****in dick face. dont you read the big stupid signs by the table saw?? home depot does not make exact cuts.

there use to be a time when they did...according to the 10-15 year of service associates

but it has gotten worse over the years

I can understand the frustration, but store policy is store policy.

People at these stores piss me off when they tell people wrong shit about garage openers. So, then I get a call "will this chamberlain remote work on my genie?" So I have to tell the customer the sales associate at Lowes as a ****ing mouth breather, and no, they cannot use that remote.
