hey i went to home depot to find that they sell 1/0 gauge wiring for 99 cents a foot but the only thing is it is very very stiff.. but i think it can bend.. you guys think this will work good enough to go with my mtx 1501d? i dont want to run out to these local shops and get the same gauge for twice the price. i might settle with 2-gauge from home depot which is also not very flexible but a lot more flexible then the 1/0 gauge. anyone know anything bout these stiff home depot wires? i figure the only challenge is getting the wire to go where i want it to go, but other than that i think it will work. i'm planning to get from weldingsupply later but just not right now since my dad is b!tching about how im getting stuff sent to the house left n right..

No, well you can do it but, but that is not the same type of power wire. That is for outdoor electrical use. And it is very thick. You will have a hard time running it and bending it. Did you look at the ends. There like a bunch of little steel rods. It is very hard to use them. I use to work with a powerline company and I did attempt it myself because I had a ton of it free lol. And it was copper, so I just skinned it and sold it once it didnt work right lol. It did work but is way to hard to work with
