Ok. Well I decided that its time that I step up my Home Audio game. Right now Im just starting out, so I really dont want to spend 1000 dollars on a home audio setup. Basically I want to get a budget 2 channel setup. I don't know if its needed, but I can add a subwoofer too if needed. This is mainly going to be used for Moives, but I do listen to music at home too. I really don't want to go to surround sound yet, because I would rather spend a little more money and get a nice 2 channel setup going.
I want to go completely DIY. Build my own crossovers, Build my own enclosures, and everything else.
I was browsing over at PE in their DIY projects, a few hit my eye, but I want to get some input from a few of our resident Home Audio gurus.
I need...
-Some guidence in driver selection, I dont know if I need to go 2 way or 3 way?
-Reciever Selection
-Plate Amp selection, If someone says I do need to run the subwoofer
-Crossover selection
