Obviously you've never dealt with someone nor experienced mental health issues. People can go insane or get messed up. I know I've dealt with depression a lot and it screws with your head quite a bit, and I haven't even had it as bad as a lot of people. Personally I think you should do some research or have some experience with a topic before you make ignorant remarks like that.

Sorry to hear about your "loss of a friend". Losing anyone close to you is hard enough when it's from natural causes or an accident but when it's a bit more complicated and self inflicted it brings up so many questions. It sounds from the video and news that your friend wasn't dealing well with the separation of not having his kids. In his mind, as sick as it might be, he felt like taking their lives and his was the only way to be at peace. He really needed some PROACTIVE and IMMEDIATE COUNSELING. If he was the friend you imply that he was, simply put he snapped after "not" reaching out for help or reaching out for help and not feeling he'd been given a solution to help him get through all of this. Now, it will be his daughters trying to recover and cope with "why did daddy do this?". I hope the family is lined up with some great child/family counselors or the cycle these two children can end up in will be a tragedy in itself. My prayers go out to his family and friends, his children and his enstranged wife(because she will undoubtedly be saddled with guilt). I'll keep you in my prayers as well.
