I love how in this pic, there's more diesel smoke than tire smoke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

The Grand National was a package on the Regal. It's similar to ***** Am vs Firebird, or even Camaro vs. Camaro Z28, SS, or IROC. Are they identicially the same? No, of course not. However, the similiarities outweigh the differences. At this point, you have to define what makes a car "different" than another.

motor means different car
so a cts and a ctsv are different cars....I will inform Cadillac

the regal came in a t-type which had exactly the same motor as the gn....

and yes the mav is faster than a gn because the fastest factory gn was 235hp
regals and GN's have almost completely different options. cts and a cts-v are the same car because they came with the SAME options. you mean to tell me a tahoe = yukon? i will inform GM...

you're correct in saying the fastest FACTORY gn had 235hp but that means about as much as a velvet painting of a whale and dolphin getting it on. GN's and T-types had and still have very little trouble getting into sub-12 second 1/4's, and still get decent gas mileage. cant say that for a maverick...

EDIT: ask any GN owner (not t-type) if they have a regal, and they will tell you no

just asked an owner....he said his car is a buick grand national t-type:laugh: and the stock gn runs high 12's low 13

adjust the psi to 20 and a few more mods, and they get in the 11's

wrong again. a stock GN will do low 14s on a good track day. you must be thinking of a GNX

so you asked an owner and he didnt say it was a regal, so where do you get this from?

and gn = regal;)
