Exactly.No, but what he's doing instead is potentially steering away people from the hobby that are genuinely fascinated. A noob and an idiot are different, as one is just starting and wants to learn, and the other is just starting, but thinks they have already learned. Therefore, if you turn away everyone, you come off as an ******* who turned down someone who genuinely admired your work.
Sounds like someone went to the e-mail link to send an e-mail, and then had his feelings hurt when he found that page instead of an email address //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifNo, but what he's doing instead is potentially steering away people from the hobby that are genuinely fascinated. Read most of the questions on there thoroughly, most of the questions are obviously retarded, and many of them could be found with a few seconds of searching //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifNo, but what he's doing instead is potentially steering away people from the hobby that are genuinely fascinated. It isn't a passion then either.If an email reply is enough to steer you away from a passion or hobby, then you have other issues that you need to address //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Well okay, I can understand if you've had a lot of emails asking redundant things over and over again, and I can understand someone who doesn't have patience 4 teh l33t cr0wd. But if you want to ask him something about a design whether it's for clarification or otherwise, there's no reason to chastise those people.Sounds like someone went to the e-mail link to send an e-mail, and then had his feelings hurt when he found that page instead of an email address //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
I'm personally found this one quite enjoyable;
Q. What's up with all this? I just want to ask you a question.
A. Denied! Once again, I must emphasize that I don't have a lot of time. I also have very little patience. I've already mentioned that my designs come without any technical support whatsoever.
Is he an ******* ? I dunno, maybe. I found the page more humorous than anything. What does it really matter though ? He's just one guy with a relatively popular website (to a relatively small minority of people) related to DIY speaker designs. There's thousands more where he came from. He's far from the only reference on DIY speaker design.
Frankly, I can understand where he's coming from. Just because he is a guy with a relatively popular website (to a relatively small minority of people) related to DIY speaker designs it doesn't obligate him to being friendly, convenient, accessible or otherwise open for contact or conversation. It's his time and his email.
But if you want to ask him something about a design whether it's for clarification or otherwise, there's no reason to chastise those people.
Okay then, let's assume that this is true. A simple "Due to overflooding of my email inbox, I have chosen not to post my email address. All designs are as stated, and any additions or changes you may want to make are yours to decide." would have been sufficient, not being a dick to everyone who might have a question.Currently he has around 10 projects up on his page, and another 5 or so comparisons. Lets pretend he receives 1 e-mail regarding each topic per day. That's 15 e-mails that would need responded to from legitimately interested individuals on the first day. Now keep in mind that legitimately interested individuals usually ask relatively in-depth questions which generally take considerable amount of time to properly respond too and also typically ask follow up questions after receiving the initial response. So on day 2 he would have 30 e-mails (15 new e-mails plus 15 responses). And this cycle would continue to build.
You can see how this would quickly build into a completely unmanageable level of correspondence for someone who is just doing this in his free time for fun. The above might be a slight exaggeration....might be relatively accurate.....either way I think it's pretty easy to see why this is something he wants to avoid.
Does it really bother you this much to stand up for individuals you don't know over an EMAIL and a WEBSITE??? My goodness, you act like he murdered someone...Okay then, let's assume that this is true. A simple "Due to overflooding of my email inbox, I have chosen not to post my email address. All designs are as stated, and any additions or changes you may want to make are yours to decide." would have been sufficient, not being a dick to everyone who might have a question.
