For the fact is I have seen people with a lot of subs and power not even come close to what you said you have done. Matter of fact a buddy of mine actually litterally pushed his windshield out and you guessed it, STILL NO CRACK! LMFAO.. Polo..

im sure there was probably some slight defect in the edge of the glass that caused it to start. it didn't happen all at once. over months of riding at full tilt it slowly casused the crack to creep up the glass. it's about 4 inhces from the top now and hasn't moved any farther in a while. then the second one started. they start from the very bottom of the glass. it annoys me actaully. it's not bad enough that my car isn't worth shit anymore since i removed my back seat but little things are starting to go. my a/c is acting up, my windshield is cracking, etc. I wouldn't recommend turning a nice vehicle into a ground pounder or plain ole loud *** daily driver. steve meade uses a 30,000+ dollar Tahoe. i hear he goes through tail lights like it aint funny. they aren't cheap. neither are windshields.

X2. I had a 350w Jensen on it though, so it was pounding even harder.

And to the guy with the Grand Prix, I'm not going to call bs. It could happen who knows. I once had a crack in my windshield that split quite a bit with my cheap Memphis 15" Pr's on a cheap amp. Might be pre 2000 because a buddy of mine has a 2000 GTP, no cracks and mine is a 2001 no cracks , only once because my head hit it in a accident, airbags didn't deploy both cars owned since new. I don't know why heat would crack them and I will ask around the GP forum to be sure... Polo..
