HOLY crap! 142 db!

I think the subs are ported thru the rear deck. because if the box is sealed and subs fire behind the rear seats then you wud just put the seats down for the best sound right? so the vented deck makes no sense? ask the show what ur box is tuend to. if they give u a number then u have a ported box my good sir.

no i think what he is saying is the box is sealed.. they fire at the rear seats.. the left a gap between the box and seats and used the stock speaker holes to let the sound in so the seats don't need to be down

Dash covers help absorb reflections. As for doing my own work, I have so much blood sweat and tears in this car than most of you guys know. Yes I used a fabricator since my skills in that area aren't the strongest.

impressive score and nice install. Not everyone has the tools, time, or skills so they earn the $$$ and have a shop do it. No shame in that...
this.....like me, I can build a box, ive been building boxes for years, sealed, but honestly, Id rather let one of the forum guys build a nice enclosure for me. I get the product I desire, they get the money and recognition they deserve, everyone is happy.

The vent in the rear deck is to allow the output from the subs into the cabin. Ive seen this done on a Chevy Caprice a while back, (2) 15" subs ported firing foward into the rear seats. The vent was right above them, allowing the output inside the car.

Beautiful install and car, I wish I had the time, money, or patience for such a amazing sounding system. My hats off to you sir //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
