Hollywood Excursion Subs?

Ok, so if I buy these 2 subs rated at 350 watts equaling 700 watts connected to a 800 watt kenwood amp.

This might come to some as stupid and lame to ask but would it burn out the subs?

nope. those are the newer ones... umm so where are you in socal? lol hollywood audio factory is in baldwin park //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm in Venice 90066, you?

Also, about the watting, what would happen if I connect both of those subs totallying 700 max to a 800 max amp?

Your not too far, about an hour drive without traffic.

So does anyone know what would happen if I connect both of these 2 350 watt max subs to a 800 watt max amp?

Welcome to the forum.

As previously posted by Sage the max wattage ratings (whether it be input wattage for speakers and subs or output wattage on decks and amps) on audio gear is a rather immaterial number.

I know exactly nothing about the subs you are asking about but Kenwood is something I know a thing or two about so let's start there. What model amp are we talking about specifically? Meaning - what's the model number?

It will be KAC-*something*
