Alright I have decided to get away from the whole show only car. I love to drive my cars and want to be able drive it. I'm putting in a set of 6.5s in the rear in the stock location and might upgrade my front 5.25s to a component set. I want the front to be heard clearly.

My substage will be the main focus. The box shall take up the whole rear of the crx. I will be using 1 sub. I think I'm going to use 1 15" Solo L7 or 1 15" SX. Which Should I do?

My front stage will be all alpine. Should I keep the coaxs or upgrade to the components? Put coaxs or components in the rear panels?

What about that new Pioneer sub? Or should I get on the Type R bandwagon? Are they as good as they say?

SX and L7 are in a different ballpark than the Type R, In my honest opinion, and either way I vote SX!

Not sure how that would compare SPL wise with an SX/Solo X though...

Personally, I would take up a spot in the group buy and get the SX.

if bass is the emphasis, skip the rear fill and get a nice set of comps in front
