most crash test are done at around 55 -70mph and they total the car. Any car doing over 50 hitting a stationary object like a pole, tree, wall etc is gonna be totaled, cars are made out of plastic, and fiberglass so they crumble. my brother hit a deer and ran off the road because of it. You would have though he hit a brick wall at 100, but he wasnt

It was on radio news today. They interviewed a lady who was right behind him at this time. He was racing another car down the road when this accident happened. This isn't the first reports of him racing around like a douche on the streets of Tampa and Clearwater either. This time it ended with his friend still in critical condition though. I really hope he learned this time.

BTW you said 55-70 MPH crashes in testing end up with totalled cars. I was stating they dont look like this Supra in those tests. They are consider totaled because the cost of repair outweighs the value, not because they look mangled like this Supra did. They only get this mangled in speeds beyond excessive.
