You have to be joking right? College football is MUCH better than the nfl....pro football is more boring to watch than golf.
On the note of hockey though, it's wierd to me that fans don't get into it...but I guess in the southern states it's understandable. Games here are great, fans are great...just a good time. Guess it may have something to do with the fact that you can see Canada from the arena though.

Nope, sorry but I'm not joking one little bit. I love NCAA and NFL football equally. College players are definitely more fun to watch because they're playing for school pride (with the exception of a few who don't want to get hurt before they get drafted). But when it comes to crowning a champion nothing beats the NFL playoffs. In college football there are WAY too many politics involved. Just look at 2 years ago when USC wasn't even given a chance at the Championship game. Oklahoma somehow paid off the right person and got the bid and the funny thing is they didn't even win their conference. In the NFL playoffs are picked by regular season record (not votes or strength of schedule) and after that its ALL left out on the field NOT for some little horn-rimmed glasses wearing little nerd who has never touched a football field to vote on. Or worse yet (and the biggest joke) the coaches poll which is very biased at times when a coach from a certain conference wants another coach from his conference to win. That way it strengthens their recruiting for the next season.

Adam, I agree completely about the nonsense in the playoffs when it comes to college football, the NFL has a much better way of working it. I wasn't talking about the politics of the season though, I was talking about the actual game....the NFL is just horrible to watch, there's no heart, and no real excitement...college ball is just more fun to watch.
