HO Alt questions

I'm looking to upgrade my alternator on my 2003 toyota tundra and it has been a while since I last bought a HO alt. I purchased a mech man alternator a long time ago, and loved it, however I now see there are many options. Mech Man, DC Power, Singer...Mech man appears to have the best prices, while other companies are quite a bit higher in their prices with what looks me to the same offerings.

To me, it looks like they all offer the same thing, just charge different prices...any suggestions?

Singer is my go to for HO Alts, mike has amazing customer service his prices are very reasonable & lifetime warranty on parts. Also to note anytime I ever needed mike to answer questions or advice I'd usually get something in return within a day at the most, I got a new car an will be going to mike for my alt but my jeep my singer was still going strong after 4yrs.

Singer for the win! Your not gonna get any better superior customer service the guy takes time out of his day to work with you answer any questions I went back and forth with him for over a month asking questions was originally gonna get one for my civic he sent me an invoice I ended up buying a tahoe and told him I wanted to get one for it instead he said no problem so ended up ordering it he's made it a point to keep in contact with me on it. The lifetime warranty on parts is nice too! Did I mention he has bad @## customer service!!!!

You guys are selling me on Singer!

My last alt was DC power. I loved it. Well worth the money. I went with Excessive Amperage for my new car because my buddy is a dealer and Nathan has amazing customer service.
DC Power by far has the highest prices...I don't get it! EA gave me a pretty good quote though...

Ya Mike Singer is a great guy to deal with and builds great alts I have 2 of his 270 for my stereo and I also have a JS alt 200 amp running my truck and have never had an once of trouble with either. I will say JS is cheaper but I think Mikes are a better quality and cust service is Top Notch!

Can't go wrong with EA.
His prices are cheaper than other competitors. Plus you have the option of powder coated the casing in any color.
I think they all pretty much do that ? I just didnt care or want to wait the extra time so mine are plain old aluminum. I have seen some that look pretty nice though, mine is a work truck so it dont matter much.
