Will a 200 amp alt be enough for an orion 2500d and about 800 watts in speaker amps???
Truck is a 2002 ranger 3.0L
I can get a 200 amp alt for a lot cheaper and a lot faster than a 300 amp alt.
Should I just go with the 300 amp alt to be safe?
BTW I will be running an optima under the hood and I have the big 3 in 2/0 and will have 2 runs of 0 gauge for the orion and 4 gauge for the speaker amp
itll be plenty i was using my stock 83 amp alto for 1 orion 2500D with no problems. I have a 200 amp alto to run 2 2500Ds but also have a kinetik batt for comps.
